Birmingham police have had special stop and search powers extended for 12-hours overnight.<\/p>\n
The Section 60 powers, covering Washwood Heath and Ward End, started at 6pm tonight and will last until 6am tomorrow, Sunday, September 28.<\/p>\n
It follows a shooting where gunshots were fired at a car, on Ward End Park Road, just after 2am, on Monday, September 22.<\/p>\n
