Matheus Cunha has not held back when assessing Manchester United’s performance against Brentford in the Premier League<\/a> on Saturday. Goals from Igor Thiago (x2) and substitute Mathias Jensen sealed a victory for the Bees, with Benjamin Sesko’s first goal for United merely a consolation in the end.<\/p>\n Ruben Amorim’s side found themselves two goals behind at the Gtech Community Stadium after 20 minutes with Thiago causing all sorts of problems.<\/p>\n Sesko brought United back into the game just before the interval from close-range at the third time of asking to open his account.<\/p>\n Bruno Fernandes had the chance to equalise from the penalty spot midway through the second half when Nathan Collins fouled Bryan Mbeumo, but his tame effort was saved by Caoimhin Kelleher. <\/a>Brentford held firm for the remainder and grabbed a third in stoppage time when Jensen fired in a superb effort that flew past Altay Bayindir.<\/p>\n A third defeat from six league games sees United remain in the bottom half of the table with last weekend’s win over Chelsea<\/a> only lightly relieving pressure on Amorim<\/p>\n Defeat to Brentford has seen questions asked again<\/a>, but when the Portuguese was faced with those he offered a clear response.<\/p>\n “I am never concerned about my job – I am not that kind of guy,” he told BBC’s Match of the Day. “It is not my decision. I will do the best I can every minute I am here.”<\/p>\n Cunha also spoke post-match verdict with the summer signing delivering a very honest assessment which included revealing the feeling inside the United dressing room.<\/p>\n “[The mood] is horrible,” he told TNT Sport. “Honestly, horrible. I always say the same, we know how important it is to play for a club like this one and we go for every game to win.<\/p>\n “For it not to end like that, it is a horrible feeling. Everyone wanted to do more, everyone needs to do more. Of course, we need to go again, that’s only the way.<\/p>\n “Honestly, trying to find excuses, I don’t think is the way. We know what you need to do. I don’t think we did well. They were more fit, they arrived and scored goals, but like I say, that is not an excuse.
