After getting an injury on I’m A Celebrity, one star is getting ready to sue ITV and others have been contacting a celebrity law firm to get some assistance with their own cases<\/p>\n

ITV<\/a> are bracing themselves for a flood of lawsuits after I\u2019m a Celebrity\u2026 <\/a>star Janice Dickinson<\/a> told how she was suing them over an injury she got on the show.<\/p>\n

The legal firm representing the veteran supermodel has been inundated with stars seeking advice over their own TV ordeals, a source says.<\/p>\n

Celebrity law firm Taylor Hampton has been flooded with calls from big names \u2013 wanting to discuss injuries, alleged misconduct behind the scenes and what they see as a lack of \u201cduty of care\u201d across shows such as Big Brother<\/a> and Love Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The source added: \u201cIt\u2019s been non-stop since Janice went public. As she\u2019s an international celebrity, the news has gone around the world<\/a> and she\u2019s shown that even ITV can be challenged. That\u2019s made other stars feel they can finally speak up.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was reported this week that Janice, 70, is suing ITV for \u00a3700,000 after suffering serious head and facial injuries while on the show in 2023.<\/p>\n

Janice \u2013 who was first on I\u2019m a Celeb in 2007 \u2013 was appearing in an all-stars version filmed in South Africa when she tripped in the night on the way to the toilet.<\/p>\n

Insiders claim a nightlight in camp had not been switched on. Janice told an interviewer: \u201cITV need to take some responsibility. My face was all cut up. It was the most frightening night of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She claimed she was left to bleed in the dark for 10 minutes. Janice added: \u201cITV had a duty of care and let me down big time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Janice \u2013 who brands herself the world\u2019s first supermodel and has dated Sylvester Stallone, Mick Jagger and Warren Beatty \u2013 has filed her claim at the High Court in London.<\/p>\n

Bosses now fear a wave of lawsuits across shows from Love Island to Big Brother and even The Voice. Janice is not the first celebrity to sue over an injury on an ITV show.<\/p>\n

TV presenter Rav Wilding won a five-figure sum from production firm Twofour after being seriously hurt on diving show Splash! in 2013.<\/p>\n
