Leeds United fans will have left Elland Road on Saturday, feeling a mixture of both positivity and frustration as they watched Daniel Farke\u2019s side outplay Bournemouth \u2013 but only secure a point.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahead of the game, Leeds<\/a> came into the game fearing the worst. They faced a Bournemouth side that has made a brilliant start to the season, sitting in fourth place before the start of the sixth game weekend.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth went in front, but Leeds deserved to come from behind and lead, and ultimately look as if they were going to win. Antoine Semenyo\u2019s free kick, cancelled out by Joe Rodon and Sean Longstaff.<\/p>\n

But Eli Junior Kroupi volleyed home an injury-time equaliser. Heartbreaking for Leeds fans, and not the first time Leeds have conceded a goal in the final moments. Micah Richards<\/a> said Leeds deserved to win.<\/p>\n

Six games into the Premier League<\/a> season, The Whites have picked up eight points. Before the start of the season, Daniel Farke<\/a> made it clear that the aim was to average a point a game during the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n

Well, Leeds are above that curve as things stand. Had they not conceded late at Fulham and then again on Saturday, they\u2019d have 11 points and currently sit in sixth position. Richards praised Leeds on MOTD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Richards said Leeds have learned from Southampton\u2019s mistakes last season: \u201cHome form is going to be key and that is why Daniel Farke will be kicking himself today. They deserved to win. It\u2019s the way you play.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing more pragmatic and playing on transition is the better way to play, to stay in the Premier League. We\u2019ve seen it before, with Southampton, trying to play out and getting picked off. Good signs so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think with the home fans that Leeds and Sunderland have got, it is always going to be difficult for teams to go there,\u201d Shearer told Richards and presenter Kelly Cates, after Richards gave his analysis.<\/p>\n

Next up for Leeds is the welcome of Tottenham next Saturday at Elland Road, who failed to beat Wolves at home.
