{"id":457788,"date":"2025-09-28T11:45:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-28T11:45:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/457788\/"},"modified":"2025-09-28T11:45:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-28T11:45:12","slug":"burnley-council-cracks-down-on-rubbish-outside-homes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/457788\/","title":{"rendered":"Burnley Council cracks down on rubbish outside homes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">A council has started a crackdown against people leaving extra bags of rubbish by their bins outside their homes.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Burnley Council has sent 105 enforcement warning letters as well as 83 legal notices which have asked people to &#8220;attend interviews&#8221; about &#8220;smaller fly-tipping&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Two warnings were also sent to landlords and 31 final reminders were issued before fines were enforced via the magistrates&#8217; court, the authority said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The council said one business was issued with a warning over the lack of a proper  waste disposal agreement.
