Chelsea\u2019s defeat to Brighton was the final straw for some supporters, who are calling for a new name to take over the reins at Stamford Bridge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca was abused by Chelsea fans<\/a> towards the end of their damning home loss to the Seagulls, with them capitulating for the second time in a week with 10 men on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Trevoh Chalobah\u2019s<\/a> red card helped what looked a routine victory turn into a very damning loss for the Blues, as they continued their nightmare month in both the Premier League and Champions League.<\/p>\n

Some have had sympathy for the scenarios surrounding Chelsea\u2019s recent defeats, however there has been criticism of Maresca\u2019s substitutions<\/a> in both defeats as he reacted to the red cards.<\/p>\n

For a section of supporters though, they have seen enough of Maresca<\/a>, and want a change just months after the Italian delivered two trophies to the club.<\/p>\n

Some fans have taken to social media to state that former midfielder Cesc Fabregas<\/a> should be the one to take over in West London.<\/p>\n

One user posted a photo of Fabregas, simply saying: \u201cYour club needs you\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Another user added: \u201cCesc Fabregas on the touchline at Stamford Bridge, I need this man back as Chelsea Manager. I\u2019m sick and tired of Maresca, he\u2019s got no b\u2014-, a coward, he wants to get sacked himself now. Get our real midfielder here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, one user said: \u201cFabregas for Chelsea coaching job. Maresca out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fabregas has only been a manager for just over a season now, taking over at Como after a spell as assistant coach.<\/p>\n

In his time in charge, he has enjoyed a positive record with the Serie A side, winning 23 and drawing 16 of his 60 games at the helm.<\/p>\n

Despite his inexperience, Fabregas has been linked to high-profile jobs<\/a> already, showing just how highly he is thought of already as a head coach.<\/p>\n

Fabregas is clearly a promising manager, however the decision to replace Maresca would be bordering on stupidity right now, with the Spaniard needing more experience before he can truly succeed in a job the magnitude of Chelsea boss.<\/p>\n
