A 15-year-old boy has admitted raping a teenage girl who he had never met.<\/p>\n
The 17-year-old victim was attacked near the tennis courts in Cripplegate Park, Worcester, on August 10.<\/p>\n
She had been followed by the boy, who cannot be named due to his age, as she entered the park at around 2am.<\/p>\n
READ MORE: <\/strong>Red cups and overturned barriers – the scene at Birmingham nightclub after shooting<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Get breaking news on BirminghamLive WhatsApp<\/a>, click the link to join<\/strong><\/p>\n Police launched a manhunt for the boy and he was arrested days later.<\/p>\n On Friday, September 26, the boy admitted one charge of rape and one charge of assault by penetration when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court.<\/p>\n Judge Andrew Lockhart KC remanded the boy in custody while a pre-sentence report was prepared.<\/p>\n Addressing the boy who remained in the enclosed dock throughout the hearing, Judge Lockhart said: “You’ve pleaded guilty.
