Kate Middleton<\/a> and Prince William<\/a> made magic happen!\n<\/p>\n The Princess of Wales and the Princes of Wales, both 43, organized a visit to the set of the new Harry Potter television series<\/a> for their three children \u2014 Prince George<\/a>,\u00a012, Princess Charlotte<\/a>, 10,\u00a0and\u00a0Prince Louis<\/a>, 7 \u2014 on Friday, Sept. 26, according to the Daily Mail<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n “It was so special,” a source who was on set during the royal visit between Kate and her kids told the outlet. (Prince William spent the weekend visiting King Charles<\/a> in Scotland.)\n<\/p>\n “Kate and the children met the young actors and the director on the set. There was only one night of filming there, so it really was a magical ticket,” the insider added, referring to Dominic McLaughlin, who will play Harry Potter; Alastair Stout, who has been cast as Ron Weasley; and Arabella Stanton, who will portray Hermione Granger, plus Mark Mylod, who is directing.\n<\/p>\n The visit was extra special for Prince Louis, who the Daily Mail reported got to ride the Hogwarts Express<\/a>. “He seemed to absolutely love it. Rowling<\/a>, and the film series they inspired.\n<\/p>\n Back in 2013, when Kate was pregnant with\u00a0Prince George, she and William paid a\u00a0visit<\/a> to The Warner Bros Studio Tour London. Play now!<\/strong><\/a>\n<\/p>\n The Harry Potter fandom within the royal family also extends to more members, as Queen Camilla<\/a> and King Charles, 76,\u00a0enjoy reading books from the popular franchise<\/a> to Kate and William’s three kids.\n<\/p>\n During the first episode of\u00a0The Queen\u2019s Reading Room Podcast<\/a> in 2024, Camilla, 78, said, “I can\u2019t mimic voices for love or money, I\u2019m completely hopeless at it. I was a really bad actor at school, and I\u2019ve never been able to master the art of mimicry. But my husband, he does it brilliantly. Discovery first announced its plans for the project in April 2023.\n<\/p>\n Bloomberg<\/a>\u00a0previously reported that each season of the show will be based on a single book, starting with\u00a0Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone<\/a>\u00a0and ending with\u00a0Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n Alongside the three child actors taking on the lead roles of Harry, Ron and Hermoine, it’s been announced that John Lithgow<\/a> (Albus Dumblore), Janet McTeer (Minerva McGonagall), Paapa Essiedu<\/a> (Severus Snape), Nick Frost<\/a> (Rubeus Hagrid) and Lox Pratt (Draco Malfoy) will also star, among others.\n<\/p>\n “We are delighted to give audiences the opportunity to discover Hogwarts in a whole new way,” HBO and Max chairman and CEO Casey Bloys previously said in a\u00a0press release<\/a> about bringing Harry Potter back to life on TV.\n<\/p>\n The Harry Potter\u00a0television series is anticipated to premiere on HBO in early 2027.\n<\/p>\n
