\n Halesowen College is delighted to announce its first Open Day of the academic year, taking place on\u00a0Saturday, 11th October between 10am and 4pm.\n <\/p>\n
This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students, parents and carers to explore everything the College has to offer. \u00a0<\/p>\n
The college offers A Levels, vocational qualifications, apprenticeships and higher education courses and staff will be on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have.<\/p>\n
The event will run from its\u00a0main Whittingham Road campus. Trinity Point which houses digital and media facilities and the newly opened Shenstone House, the college\u2019s Centre of Excellence for Health Education, will also be open for visitors to tour and view facilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The day will include presentations from Principal and Chief Executive, Jacquie Carman and the college A level and Apprenticeship Teams, which will be delivered at the main campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Visitors can look forward to a\u00a0range of engaging practical activities from the curriculum areas that will help them consider the options available to them. \u00a0Activities include hair and beauty workstations, animal handling demonstrations, catering students creating competition fit dishes, sports performance analysis and much more.<\/p>\n
Jacquie Carman, Principal and Chief Executive, at Halesowen College, emphasized the event\u2019s value, saying: \u201cOur open events are an excellent opportunity for\u00a0Year 11 students\u00a0to consider their next steps. \u00a0<\/p>\n
