Liverpool fell to their first defeat of the season at the hands of Crystal Palace, with Arne Slot left to rue some missed opportunities in both boxes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Merseyside outfit have had a habit of scoring late, and thought they rescued a point through Federico Chiesa<\/a> in similar circumstances, only to be hit back in the 96th minute.<\/p>\n

There will be plenty for Arne Slot<\/a> to address, with a few Liverpool<\/a> players who are looking far from their best.<\/p>\n

However, there is one star who is actually making quite the impact, and may be going under the radar so far.<\/p>\n

There has been plenty of focus on Liverpool\u2019s attacking ranks, which were bolstered over the summer transfer window with the big-money signings of Florian Wirtz<\/a>, Alexander Isak<\/a> and Hugo Ekitike<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, it hasn\u2019t all quite clicked, not least in the overall performances.<\/p>\n

Perhaps, as a result, the performances of Federico Chiesa are going a little under the radar so far this season.<\/p>\n

Signed for just \u00a312.5 million from Juventus last summer, the forward struggled through injuries, as he failed to get many minutes or chances to break into the team.<\/p>\n

This time around, though, there could be a little more luck.<\/p>\n

Chiesa has been available and, most importantly, making an impact when called upon within the team.<\/p>\n

He hasn\u2019t been starting much, but the Italian international has scored a goal against Bournemouth, provided two assists against Southampton in the League Cup, and added to his tally against Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

In just 14 touches against the Eagles, Chiesa managed to get two shots off, scoring what looked to be an important goal.<\/p>\n

His impact so far may be overlooked by some of the other superstars, who are either newer or are expected to score more often.<\/p>\n

But, while he is going under the radar, his impact may help fire Liverpool towards success this season.<\/p>\n

While it went against them on Saturday, Liverpool are no strangers to late goals so far this season.<\/p>\n

Many rival fans have suggested that it may be luck or fortune falling the way of the Reds.<\/p>\n

However, the real change for Liverpool is that they have so many strong attacking options within their ranks.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s a change in striker with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike or the wide ranks that include Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah or the aforementioned Chiesa.<\/p>\n
