A major Manchester roundabout is partially blocked after a British Transport Police (BTP) car has crashed.<\/p>\n

One lane of Chester Road, in Manchester city centre<\/a>, is closed after the collision this afternoon (September 28).<\/p>\n

The car appears to have smashed into bollards in the pedestrian and cyclist crossing area.<\/p>\n

The BTP vehicle deployed its airbags in the smash and has suffered heavy damage to its front end, including a smashed hood.<\/p>\n
