Marcus Rashford continued his fine form for Barcelona after joining the La Liga leaders on loan from Man United in the summer transfer window<\/p>\n

Marcus Rashford sent yet another reminder of his qualities to Manchester United<\/a> this weekend.<\/p>\n

While Ruben Amorim’<\/a>s side were required to wallow in another Premier League<\/a> defeat, the Barcelona<\/a> loanee continued his promising start to life in Spain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rashford <\/a>helped the Catalan side come from behind at the Llu\u00eds Companys Olympic Stadium as they overcame Real Sociedad after the visitors took the lead through Alvaro Odriozola after 31 minutes.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old England international stepped up to show his ability from a dead ball and found Jules Kounde from a corner to level the scores shortly before half-time.<\/p>\n

Teenage sensation Lamine Yamal went on to offer an assist for veteran striker Robert Lewandowski as Barcelona went to the top of La Liga and now lead rivals Real Madrid by a single point.<\/p>\n

Rashford’s assist was his third of the season,<\/a> bringing his total goal involvements for the term to five. The Carrington product has the joint-most goal involvements across all competitions for his new side, matching Ferran Torres and Raphinha following his latest effort.<\/p>\n

United’s new forward line of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko has managed just three goal involvements so far. The latter netted his first goal in United colours in the defeat to Brentford<\/a> with Amorim’s side barely averaging a goal per game once again.<\/p>\n

Following his latest success with Barca, Rashford took to Instagram and said: “Huge 3 points! Let\u2019s keep pushing.”<\/p>\n

And it appears Rashford has retained some interest at United. Fellow ‘bomb squad’ member Tyrell Malacia liked the post, as did forward Joshua Zirkee.<\/p>\n

Midfielder Donnie van de Beek, who also currently plies his trade in La Liga in Catalonia but with Girona, also liked Rashford’s declaration.<\/p>\n

Following Barcelona’s win, coach Hansi Flick highlighted the work his side undertake on set pieces that paid off via Rashford’s delivery.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe practice dead ball situations a lot and it’s really important to have this strength,” he said. “We are very happy with how it is going\u201d.<\/p>\n
