It looks like Queen Camilla<\/a>\u2018s relationship with Prince Harry<\/a> will never be repaired. While there were green flag with the Duke of Sussex\u2019s successful reunion with King Charles<\/a>, it doesn\u2019t look the same with his stepmother.<\/p>\n

According to several sources like the Examiner<\/a>, Camilla \u201cwill never forgive\u201d Harry. \u201cShe\u2019s still livid over what he wrote about her\u201d in his memoir Spare, \u201cand what he said in follow-up interviews.\u201d <\/p>\n

In Spare<\/a>, Harry recounted how he viewed Camilla as a \u201cvillain\u201d and how he felt when his father remarried. He wrote that he viewed her \u201clike all the\u00a0wicked stepmothers\u00a0in storybooks,\u201d noting that William \u201clong harbored suspicions about the Other Woman.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI had complex feelings about gaining a step parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar,\u201d Harry wrote. \u201cIn a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she\u2019d be less dangerous if she was happy?\u201d<\/p>\n

According to some sources, Camilla has no intentions to reconcile. \u201cHarry\u2019s attacks felt very personal to her,\u201d a source told RadarOnline<\/a>. \u201cCamilla has endured criticism for much of her life, but to have Charles\u2019 own son describe her as calculating and a threat is beyond what she can accept. She thinks those words caused lasting damage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo her, Harry\u2019s remarks went beyond rudeness \u2013 they struck at her character,\u201d another insider told the gossip site. \u201cCamilla spent years slowly earning trust within the family and from the public. His accusations tore open old wounds she believed were finally closed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite how Camilla feels, her husband doesn\u2019t want to burn bridges. \u201cCharles finds the situation agonizing,\u201d a friend of the king said. \u201cHe makes efforts to reach out to Harry, but Camilla always brings him back to the hurtful passages in the memoir. It\u2019s the sticking point that makes healing the rift so hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source added, \u201cCamilla often stresses that Harry and Meghan stepped away from their duties, and she uses that to bolster her case. Whenever Charles shows signs of softening, she reminds him of the attacks directed at her.\u201d<\/p>\n

And it doesn\u2019t seem like the grudge will go away. \u201cIn public she puts on a gracious face, but privately the resentment remains \u2013 and it\u2019s unlikely she\u2019ll ever let it go.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview with Good Morning America after the books publication, Harry clarified Michael Strahan that there wasn\u2019t harsh feelings towards Camilla. \u201cWe haven\u2019t spoken for a long time. I love every member of my family, despite the differences,\u201d Harry said. \u201cSo when I see her, we\u2019re perfectly pleasant with each other. She\u2019s my stepmother. I don\u2019t look at her as an evil stepmother. I see someone who married into this institution, and done everything she can to improve her own reputation and her own image, for her own sake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry spoke positively of his reunion with his father, and considered bringing his kids to his homeland. \u201cYes, I would. This week has definitely brought that closer,\u201d he said during an interview with\u00a0The Guardian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the same interview, Prince Harry was asked about the revelations made in his memoir,about his family, and said, \u201cI don\u2019t believe that I aired my dirty laundry<\/a> in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,\u201d he explained. \u201cI know that [speaking out] annoys some people and it goes against the narrative,\u201d he added. \u201cThe book? It was a series of corrections to stories already out there.
