Literary organisation Stella has announced the evening program for its Stella Day Out event in\u00a0Aireys Inlet, Victoria, to take place on 15 November 2025 at the Aireys Inlet Community Centre.<\/p>\n

The first session will feature Stella Prize shortlisted author Katherine Brabon,\u00a0discussing her most recent novel Cure<\/a> (Ultimo, 2025) and \u2018the complexities of illness, identity and the mother-daughter bond\u2019 with author Angela Savage.<\/p>\n

Following this conversation, the second session will feature author and former GP Jacinta Halloran discussing her new book, Resistance<\/a> (Text, 2023), and \u2018what it means to care \u2013 personally and politically\u2019 with author Inala Cooper.<\/p>\n

Stella Day Out<\/a>\u00a0is a free one-day literary festival that \u2018celebrates and promotes the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary writers to Australian literature\u2019.<\/p>\n

The organisation has also recently run events in Warrnambool<\/a>, Adelaide<\/a>, Sydney<\/a>, Darwin<\/a>, Brisbane<\/a>, Melbourne<\/a>, Canberra<\/a> and Hobart<\/a>. Future events are planned in Perth<\/a> and Ballarat<\/a>. Programs are released individually.<\/p>\n
