Birmingham locals have their say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We asked people in Birmingham when they usually turn their heating off, and whether it causes arguments between members of the household.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One family said: \u201cI like to put the heating on timer so it&#8217;s warm when I get up for work in the morning and it&#8217;s warm when I come home from work but my husband has now said it&#8217;s summer and no heating should be on until at least October. We have if off unless we\u2019re really cold.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another woman said: \u201cMy heating&#8217;s on from morning until bed because of freezings conditions. My family they turn their heating off in their room.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another member of the public said: \u201cWhat I do in my house is I&#8217;ve already programmed it to a certain temperature so it&#8217;s on all year round.
