This new official musical celebrating the hit songs of KC and The Sunshine Band is now playing at Charing Cross Theatre until 15 November 2025.<\/p>\n

The show stars Ross Harmon<\/strong> (Shucked, Regent\u2019s Park Open Air Theatre) as the real-life Harry Wayne Casey (KC), with Adam Taylor<\/strong> (Cabaret<\/a>, Kit Kat Club) as Orly, Paige Fenlon<\/strong> (Pretty Woman, West End) as Dee, and Annabelle Terry<\/strong> (Scissorhandz, Southwark Playhouse Elephant) as Gina returning to the show following its Edinburgh Festival Fringe run last year.<\/p>\n

The Ensemble includes Aaron Archer<\/strong> (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Tour), Eve Drysdale (Fame the Musical, Tour), Rachael Kendall Brown<\/strong> (Pretty Woman, Tour) and Finley Oliver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Get Down Tonight originally premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year as Who Do Ya Love?.<\/p>\n

The show celebrates the early life of Harry Wayne Casey<\/strong> \u2013 the King of Disco from KC and The Sunshine Band, and features a full-on blast of iconic dance floor hits from the 1970s.<\/p>\n

Over 20 KC and the Sunshine Band songs are featured in the show, including Give It Up, Please Don\u2019t Go, Boogie Shoes, That\u2019s the Way (I Like It), and Get Down Tonight!<\/p>\n

The musical is written by J. F. Lawton<\/strong> (Pretty Woman The Musical) and developed with Harry Wayne Casey. Direction and choreography is by Lisa Stevens<\/strong> (The Witches of Eastwick, Mary Poppins,\u00a0and\u00a0Spamalot).<\/p>\n

The creative team also includes Musical Supervision, Orchestrations and Arrangements by Mark Crossland, Set Designer Bretta Gerecke, Lighting Designer Jai Morjaria, Sound Designer Chris Whybrow, Associate Director & Choreographer Sierra Brewerton, and Casting Director Anne Vosser.<\/p>\n
