Blending modern American folk with vintage New Orleans jazz, the show reimagines the ancient Greek myths of <strong>Orpheus and Eurydice<\/strong> and <strong>Hades and Persephone<\/strong> as a haunting, contemporary musical journey through the underworld.<\/p>\n<p>Following its <strong>record-breaking Broadway run<\/strong> and a much-praised staging at London\u2019s <strong>National Theatre<\/strong>, the production continues to thrive in the West End, where it has played to sold-out audiences and critical acclaim since opening at the Lyric Theatre in February 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The current London company features:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/307094\/star-watch\/nicola-roberts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nicola Roberts<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> (Girls Aloud, City of Angels) as Persephone (from 16 September 2025 \u2013 18 January 2026)<\/li>\n<li><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/273498\/star-watch\/desmonda-cathabel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Desmonda Cathabel<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> (Disney\u2019s Aladdin, Mamma Mia!
