Bright Osayi-Samuel is already walking the disciplinary tightrope after four bookings in Birmingham City\u2019s<\/a> opening seven Championship games.<\/p>\n Osayi-Samuel<\/a> avoided a booking against Coventry City on Saturday, so a yellow card against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday will see him banned for Blues’ trip to Wrexham.<\/p>\n Should the full-back receive a caution in any of Blues\u2019 next 12 Championship games he will receive a one-match suspension.<\/p>\n The first amnesty comes in after 19 Championship matches, which means players can no longer be banned for receiving five cautions.<\/p>\n Osayi-Samuel has collected his four bookings to date against Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, Stoke and Swansea.<\/p>\n Blues have a readymade replacement for Osayi-Samuel in Ethan Laird but the full-back suffered a hamstring injury in the defeat at Coventry.<\/p>\n Jack Robinson will serve a one-match ban against Sheffield Wednesday for being sent off against the Sky Blues and Chris Davies will hope Osayi-Samuel can delay what appears to be an inevitable suspension for a little while longer.<\/p>\n Blues don\u2019t have any other players currently at risk of a ban with Christoph Klarer, Paik Seung-ho, Tomoki Iwata and Demarai Gray all on two bookings apiece.<\/p>\n Robinson, Ryan Allsop, Jay Stansfield and Kyogo Furuhashi have all been booked once in the Championship this season.<\/p>\n Blues\u2019 Championship yellow cards table<\/strong><\/p>\n Bright Osayi-Samuel – 4<\/p>\n Paik Seung-ho – 2<\/p>\n Christoph Klarer – 2<\/p>\n Demarai Gray – 2<\/p>\n Tomoki Iwata – 2<\/p>\n Ryan Allsop – 1<\/p>\n Kyogo Furuhashi – 1<\/p>\n Jay Stansfield – 1<\/p>\n Jack Robinson – 1<\/p>\n Get the latest Blues headlines sent straight to your phone<\/p>\n BirminghamLive has its very own Birmingham City<\/a> WhatsApp community to deliver the latest headlines straight to your phone.
