{"id":461028,"date":"2025-09-29T18:01:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T18:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/461028\/"},"modified":"2025-09-29T18:01:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T18:01:15","slug":"celebrating-innovation-talent-excellence-cnect-wales-awards-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/461028\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating Innovation, Talent &#038; Excellence &#8211; Cnect Wales Awards 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Celebrating innovation, talent and excellence in Wales\u2019 customer experience industry at the Cnect Wales Contact Centre Awards 2025 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-84140\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Cnect-Wales-Awards-Host-Joel-Dommett-777x437-sept-2025-min-450x253.jpg\"\/>The stars of Wales\u2019 customer service sector were celebrated in style at the 27th annual Cnect Wales Awards, held on 26th September at Cardiff City Stadium with guest host, comedian, television presenter and actor Joel Dommett.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by headline sponsor Jomo People, the sold-out event brought together more than 500 industry professionals to recognise the innovation, talent, and excellence across Wales\u2019 thriving customer experience industry, which contributes over \u00a3650m annually to the Welsh economy and employs 32,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s awards reflected the adaptability and creativity of an industry that continues to evolve in the face of technological change, shifting employee expectations, and ever-higher customer demands. Innovation in talent development shone through as The Consumer Helpline (TCH Group) was awarded Gold for Best Talent Programme, recognising its forward-thinking approach to nurturing skills and meeting business needs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-84141\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"254\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/cnect-outsourced-Business-of-the-Year-Winner-SSCL-min-450x254.jpg\"\/>The evening also saw the introduction of a brand-new category, Best Working Environment, which celebrates organisations making a difference not only for their people but also for the environment and wider sustainability. Starling Bank claimed the inaugural award, demonstrating how investment in culture and sustainability can go hand in hand with high performance.<\/p>\n<p>Diversity and inclusion were recognised as being key to excellence, with BBC Cymru Wales winning the Diversity, Equality &amp; Inclusion Award, while the final company award Business of the Year was split into three categories. Sky Cardiff received the Best Community Award, Starling Bank was named Best Inhouse Business of the Year, and SSCL took the title of Best Outsource Business of the Year, all demonstrating the breadth of talent and innovation within the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Individual achievements were also in the spotlight. Amy Dicomidis of Capital on Tap was named Customer Contact Leader of the Year. Meanwhile, the Senior Leader of the Year Award celebrated both inhouse and outsourced leadership, with Trish Norman of Lenvi (inhouse) and Nicholas Miles of CGI (outsource) taking home the top honours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sandra Busby, Managing Director of Cnect Wales<\/strong>, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s winners highlight the creativity, dedication, and innovation that make Wales a leader in customer experience.
