They were taken to hospital with injuries having been “kicked to the face.”<\/p>\n

Police said a 37-year-old woman and a 15-year-old male were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.<\/p>\n

The force is appealing for information which will help their investigation.<\/p>\n

In a statement, police said: “We were called to an incident shortly before 8pm tonight (Wed) involving a group of people outside a pub on the Bull Ring, Sedgley.<\/p>\n

“During the incident one of our officers was assaulted and taken to hospital with injuries after being kicked to the face.<\/p>\n
