Duncan Ferguson didn\u2019t hold back in his scathing review of West Ham as they drew 1-1 with Everton on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n West Ham welcomed Nuno as head coach<\/a> over the weekend, and he instantly took a place in the dugout on a trip to Merseyside.<\/p>\n The ex-Nottingham Forest boss took charge of West Ham against Everton<\/a>, despite overseeing just two training sessions in East London.<\/p>\n Nuno<\/a> couldn\u2019t stop his West Ham side from conceding from set-pieces at Everton, as the negative trend from dead-ball situations continued.<\/p>\n This sparked Ferguson<\/a> into life to slam the Hammers as frustration from the London Stadium<\/a> faithful continued into the new regime.<\/p>\n Graham Potter was sacked by West Ham<\/a>, shockingly, after taking up media duties at Rush Green less than 24 hours before his exit.<\/p>\n Despite this, his departure was justified, and the defending from corners and free-kicks played a large role in this reasoning.<\/p>\n This fault of the Englishman has seemingly bled into the new spell of Nuno, with Michael Keane\u2019s Everton opener representing a massive concern for the Hammers.<\/p>\n It was the marking of Konstantinos Mavropanos<\/a> that caught the eye, leaving Ferguson less than impressed while talking via Sky Sports Premier League on 29 September.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cIt\u2019s West Ham\u2019s Achilles heel isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019d expect your team to push out of the box and get as high as they can. I think they\u2019re a bit deep, I\u2019d be bringing them to the 18-yard line. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a great header, but they don\u2019t stop the cross. You\u2019ve got to be as quick as you can, get out there and up the pitch so you\u2019re closer to engage. <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s pitiful, to be honest.
