One theme of Leeds United\u2019s Premier League campaign has been the consistency of injuries already. Now, Daniel Farke has been rocked by a key player suffering a long-term injury.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The summer window saw Leeds<\/a> opt to risk signing players who are renowned for being injury-prone to save a bit of cash and place faith in the club\u2019s medical department to keep players fit for a longer time.<\/p>\n

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the prime example, and as things stand, the England international has not yet picked up an injury. He has surpassed 88 minutes in the last two games for Leeds under Daniel Farke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But there have been niggles. Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu picked up MCL injuries at the start of the season while new signings Lucas Perri, Noah Okafor, Sebastiaan Bornauw and others have missed games.<\/p>\n

Now, a real blow. Not just a niggling injury that could keep a player out for two or three games. Dan James<\/a> has made an indifferent start to the Premier League<\/a> season, having lacked a pre-season campaign.<\/p>\n

Willy Gnonto and James were ruled out for the games against Wolves, but for Bournemouth, Farke said Gnonto and James could be involved<\/a>. However, Pope<\/a> says James has now suffered an injury in training.<\/p>\n

While Pope has not fully confirmed a long-term injury for the Wales winger and is waiting to hear back from club sources, the BBC Radio Leeds commentator says he\u2019s been told it is a serious injury for James.<\/p>\n

Loaning out Largie Ramazani looks like a mistake, getting worse<\/p>\n

At the time, fans questioned the decision to sanction Largie Ramazani\u2019s loan to Valencia. Then, Leeds failed to bring in Harry Wilson or Facundo Buonanotte and fans grew more frustrated by the decision.<\/p>\n

Especially, with Ramazani laying on an assist for Valencia on debut<\/a>. Brenden Aaronson may have got a standing ovation on Saturday<\/a>, but the fact Aaronson is starting on the right has annoyed fans further.<\/p>\n

Now, the decision to loan Ramazani out is made even worse by the news that James could be sidelined for a while. It is unclear if Leeds will have the option to recall Ramazani come the January window.<\/p>\n
