The cheapest and most expensive areas to buy a house in Greater Manchester <\/a>have now been revealed.<\/p>\n

The latest house price<\/a> data from the Land Registry shows the average cost to buy a property<\/a> in every postcode area across the region, revealing the spots where you can bag a bargain home.<\/p>\n

Farnworth in Bolton<\/a> id the cheapest places to purchase a home in Greater Manchester. Homes in the BL4 postcode area sold for an average of \u00a3177,637 each in the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

The next cheapest place to buy a property in our region is Clayton<\/a> in Manchester, where houses sold for \u00a3182,612 each on average in the M11 postcode area.<\/p>\n

On the other end of the scale, Altrincham<\/a> is the most expensive area to buy a home with an average house price of \u00a3562,886.<\/p>\n

The WA15 postcode area has the highest average sale price of any postcode in Greater Manchester to have had at least 50 sales over the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

The WA14 area was the second most expensive place to buy a home in our region. The average property in this part of Altrincham sold for an average of \u00a3526,139 last year.<\/p>\n
