Are Pete Davidson<\/a> and Walton Goggins<\/a> feuding? Well, not exactly, but they are gently butting heads while talking more broadly about their personal feelings, which is maybe weirder? Also, Pedro Pascal and Theo Von are implicated. This is a real Hollywood Mad Libs story, one that could have only started with two guys shooting the shit on a podcast.<\/p>\n During his appearance on Von\u2019s This Past Weekend<\/a> podcast, Davidson opined about how quickly people turn on the celebrities they feel are overexposed (something he has obviously experienced firsthand<\/a>). \u201cLook at Pedro Pascal right now. Fucking two years ago, he\u2019s a hardworking great actor,\u201d Davidson said. \u201cHe\u2019s worked so hard and has been a struggling actor, [then] fucking blows up so fucking hard, everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Daddy, daddy! Yeah, daddy, daddy.\u2019 And then a year later, he\u2019s like in everything now \u2019cause he\u2019s hot and big and everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Go the fuck away, dude!\u2019\u201d Von then joked that people were also yelling, \u201cI hope ICE gets Pascal!,\u201d which we can\u2019t even get into right now.<\/p>\n \u201cYou got to give someone time to adjust to that new level of fame,\u201d Davidson continued. \u201cHe\u2019s been banging at it for 30 years, and now he\u2019s learning how to go get a cup of coffee or deal with someone that taps you on the shoulder while you have your earbuds in and freaks you out. You got to give that guy a fucking second to like adjust.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re gonna do it with Walton Goggins. [He] will be next,\u201d Davidson predicted. \u201cIt\u2019s like we build everybody up and now it\u2019s so fast to turn. It\u2019s within months.\u201d<\/p>\n Goggins, never one to shy away from a long, meandering Instagram caption<\/a>, read about Davidson\u2019s comments in The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> and decided to share his own thoughts. Alongside a slideshow<\/a> that included a screenshot of the article and a bunch of photos from his time at the Saint Laurent show in Paris, Goggins said Davidson\u2019s comments didn\u2019t really bother him.<\/p>\n \u201cI saw this article and had to respond. (Pete was talking about his own experience) Pete we don\u2019t know each other but I appreciate the heads up,\u201d Goggins wrote, immediately clocking the comedian for projecting onto him. \u201cAs a 53 yr old I\u2019m acutely aware that every experience has a shelf life. I appreciate so many of you going on this journey with me\u2026 I have a few things coming out that I have an obligation to talk about\u2026 not for me mind you, but to honor all of those that worked so hard to bring these stories to fruition.\u201d Goggins also noted that he and Davidson can agree on the greatness of Pascal, who would probably love to be left out of this entirely.<\/p>\n Goggins continued, writing that it was \u201ca blessing\u201d to be part of the THR headline, asking, \u201cHow lucky am I that this is even a possibility?!!\u201d He ended on a note of gratitude, sharing that he has experienced \u201cway more than a poor kid from GA would ever have the audacity to imagine.\u201d \u201cIf saying yes in life more than saying no is a crime, then I\u2019m guilty as charged,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAnd If this headline is a possibility or an inevitability\u2026 if this is my fate\u2026Well\u2026 Fuck it. I\u2019m going to enjoy the FUCK OUT OF IT.\u201d<\/p>\n Hell yeah, brother.
