A major pop star<\/a> has been forced to cancel their entire UK tour following an on-stage incident at a festival at the weekend.<\/p>\n Lola Young, who is known for hits including Messy and One Thing, first broke out onto the scene in 2023 and has since received critical acclaim as well as winning the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award in 2025 and has also been nominated for two BRIT Awards.<\/a><\/p>\n The singer, who recently scored a top-three album with her third record I’m Only F**king Myself, had performed at the All Things Go festival in New York on Saturday (September 27).<\/p>\n During the performance of the track Conceited, Lola was seen visibly motioning to her team off-stage before falling backwards and collapsing in front of the thousands of fans in attendance. She was then carried off stage.<\/p>\n Stay connected with our City Life newsletter here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Lola, 24, later took to social media to say that she was \u2018doing okay now\u2019 and thanked fans for their concern and support. But Lola has now said she has cancelled all of her upcoming shows and is \u2018going away for a while\u2019.<\/p>\n This means that her headline UK tour, which was only due to begin in a week’s time, will no longer take place as a result. The tour was due to begin in Manchester on October 6 with a show at Victoria Warehouse<\/a>. A second date at the venue was later added for October 7 due to demand.<\/p>\n The tour was then to be followed by a show at the O2 Academy Birmingham on October 9, followed by two nights at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on October 15 and 16. In November, Lola had then been set to begin her North American and Canadian tour.<\/p>\n In a message to fans, Lola apologised for having to cancel the tour at short notice and said the decision \u2018pains me\u2019, but explained that it was necessary and asked fans to give her a \u2018second chance\u2019 when they can.<\/p>\n She wrote: \u201cI\u2019m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you for all the love and support. I\u2019m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know. Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.\u201d<\/p>\n The post went on to say: \u201cI really hope you\u2019ll give me a second chance once I\u2019ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x.\u201d<\/p>\n It is understood that fans who have tickets will be sent correspondence regarding refunds.
