She earned her fast figures while posting two easy wins from two starts during the summer at Saratoga<\/a>. First, she trounced a maiden special weight by 3 3\/4 lengths over a next-out winner. She next crushed the Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes<\/a> competition by 6 1\/2 lengths.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no reason to think Tommy Jo will falter in the Alcibiades. One possible hurdle is the fact she\u2019s tackling a two-turn race for the first time, but as a daughter of perennial leading sire Into Mischief out of the Pioneerof the Nile mare Mother Mother, Tommy Jo is bred to relish the 1 1\/16-mile distance of the Alcibiades.<\/p>\n
