Several French departments now have a new standardised online process for renewing a five-year Brexit Withdrawal Agreement card.<\/p>\n
You can read our full article about the process, and why this was done, at this link<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The following are the prefectures that have launched a new process by October 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n Others are expected to follow.<\/p>\n Prefecture websites\u00a0<\/p>\n Following the ‘new’ standardised procedure:<\/p>\n Meurthe-et-Moselle\u00a0(prefecture site<\/a>,\u00a0DS page\u00a0<\/a>)<\/p>\n Lot\u00a0(prefecture site<\/a>,\u00a0DS page<\/a>)<\/p>\n Cantal\u00a0(Prefecture site<\/a>,\u00a0DS page<\/a>)<\/p>\n Calvados\u00a0(Prefecture site<\/a>,\u00a0DS page<\/a>)<\/p>\n Dordogne\u00a0(Prefecture site<\/a>,\u00a0DS page<\/a>)<\/p>\n Rh\u00f4ne (Prefecture site<\/a>, DS page<\/a>).<\/p>\n The prefecture of the Gironde told\u00a0The Connexion: “The prefecture will put in place a specific form on the online application ‘D\u00e9marches Simplifi\u00e9es’ as was asked for by the Direction G\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Etrangers en France”.\u00a0<\/p>\n Its communications team told us its own prefecture website will be updated “as soon as it is ready”.\u00a0<\/p>\n The prefecture of\u00a0Oise\u00a0has set up a DS page but we do not yet see any information on its own website to the effect that this should be used yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Val d’Oise is also reported to have set a procedure up but when we checked today we could not access its website.\u00a0<\/p>\n The prefecture of\u00a0Morbihan\u00a0states in a “foreign people’s news” section of its website that it is\u00a0working on a ‘specific procedure<\/a>‘ for WA renewals which will include a dedicated booking service to obtain a prefecture appointment slot and that residents must not in the meantime book an appointment via its standard appointments page.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n
