BERLIN, – Germany’s manufacturing sector activity dipped slightly in September, driven primarily by a renewed fall in new orders, even though production growth hit its highest level in 3-1\/2 years, a business survey showed on Wednesday. The HCOB final Purchasing Managers’ Index for German manufacturing, compiled by S&P Global, slipped to 49.5 in September from August’s 38-month high of 49.8 points. <\/p>\n
