One of Leeds United\u2019s standout performers this season has pinpointed the quality that makes one part of the current squad the best he has played with in his career. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke<\/a> and his Leeds squad have made a strong start to life in the Premier League<\/a>, picking up eight points in their first six games since winning promotion back to the top flight. <\/p>\n

Several of Leeds\u2019 new signings have hit the ground running at Elland Road, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin earning praise<\/a> from Jermaine Beckford and Sean Longstaff topping the ratings<\/a> for his display against Bournemouth. <\/p>\n

Anton Stach<\/a> is another player who has impressed in the Leeds midfield, forming a dynamic trio with Longstaff and Ethan Ampadu<\/a>, keeping fan favourite Ao Tanaka<\/a> out of the Leeds side. <\/p>\n

Now, Stach has explained what sets the Leeds midfield apart as the Whites prepare to face Tottenham in a crucial game. <\/p>\n

Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds<\/a>, Stach explained how the standards in training are translating to results on the pitch for Farke\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n

Having praised Longstaff\u2019s growing influence<\/a> on the Leeds side, Stach revealed that the competition for places in the centre of the pitch is helping drive the Whites forward. <\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe have five or six players who are really good; nearly all on the same level. I think that\u2019s really important as well in training. <\/p>\n

\u201cThen, of course, to push each other in games. I think we can play really well with each other together. We are flexible, and I think the mentality is that there is a big argument for everybody. <\/p>\n

\u201cBecause all of us are fighting for every ball. We try to be focused in every duel. I would say it\u2019s the best midfield I have played with so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stach\u2019s brilliant free-kick against Wolves<\/a> was a well-deserved reward for a strong start to the season that sees him competing with the best in the Premier League<\/a> for the most chances created. <\/p>\n

However, Stach\u2019s defensive contribution has gone more under the radar, despite the German midfielder forming a crucial part of Leeds\u2019 miserly defence.<\/p>\n

According to the statistics from\u00a0FotMob<\/a>, Stach has made 12 tackles, won 32 duels, with nine aerial duels won, and has won possession in the final third four times in his six appearances this season. <\/p>\n
