Prince William is showing a little brotherly love.<\/p>\n
In a rare move amid William and Prince Harry\u2019s years-long rift<\/a>, William mentions his younger brother by name during an appearance on Eugene Levy\u2019s Apple TV+ series, \u201cThe Reluctant Traveler.\u201d<\/p>\n William acknowledges he and Harry had a difficult upbringing as royals when asked about how he feels about his eldest son, 12-year-old Prince George, one day becoming king.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people\u2019s lives for the better,\u201d he says. \u201cThat is caveated with, I hope we don\u2019t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up with \u2014 and I\u2019ll do everything I can to make sure we don\u2019t regress in that situation.\u201d<\/p>\n Prince William mentions his younger brother, Prince Harry, by name during his conversation with Eugene Levy for the actor\u2019s Apple TV+ series, \u201cThe Reluctant Traveler.\u201d Apple TV<\/p>\n Harry\u2019s name comes up when Levy asks the Prince of Wales how he feels about his eldest son, 12-year-old Prince George, one day becoming king. Apple TV<\/p>\n William says that he definitely plans to \u201cchange\u201d things for his children.<\/p>\n \u201cChange for good,\u201d William stresses. \u201cAnd I embrace that and I enjoy that change \u2014 I don\u2019t fear it. That\u2019s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNot overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen,\u201d he continues.<\/p>\n Harry has been at odds with his family since he and his wife, Meghan Markle,\u00a0stepped back as working members of the royal family\u00a0in 2020 and moved to the United States.<\/p>\n William says he wanted to change things for his eldest son, and acknowledges that he and Harry had a difficult upbringing as royals.
