{"id":47013,"date":"2025-04-24T16:10:10","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T16:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/47013\/"},"modified":"2025-04-24T16:10:10","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T16:10:10","slug":"sign-up-to-win-a-pair-of-music-passes-to-sxsw-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/47013\/","title":{"rendered":"Sign up to win a pair of music passes to SXSW London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sxswlondon.com\/music-festival\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SXSW London<\/a> is taking over dozens of venues across the UK capital from June 2-7, featuring performances from NAO, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/music\/article\/66151\/1\/singer-songwriter-sienna-spiro-is-an-old-head-on-young-shoulders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sienna Spiro<\/a>, Miraa May, Sasha Keable and hundreds more. Dazed is partnering with SXSW and we are giving five winners the chance to win a pair of passes to the festival\u2019s music programming.<\/p>\n<p>SXSW London aims to highlight international music scenes with its programming, welcoming Korean rap legend Blas\u00e9, Grammy-award winning Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems and more, into iconic venues across the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Shoreditch\u2019s Strongrooms gastropub will be transformed into the Caribbean Music House. The venue will host showcases from Jamaican reggae singer Lila Ik\u00e9 as well as BBC Radio 1Xtra&#8217;s Dancehall Show host Seani B. Elsewhere in East London, Shoreditch Town Hall will be the centre of SXSW London\u2019s Future of Classical Music Series, showcasing the next generation of classical music artists with a particular emphasis on black artists in the genre, alongside special guest Carleen Anderson.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a series of showcases across London spotlighting queer music, with takeovers from platforms such as The Gay Times, Queer Alt Music, Wraith and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on this unique programming across historic London venues, the festival\u2019s head of music Adam Holness said: \u201cOne of the things I love most about London is that you can step out of any tube station and find yourself in a distinct community.
