Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> sit 23rd in the Championship table<\/a> coming into the clash with Coventry City<\/a> this weekend. However, recent displays have given the SWFC something to be proud of.<\/p>\n

Uncertainty over the club\u2019s future lingers<\/a> as Dejphon Chansiri clings onto control at Hillsborough. Further protests will take place to force change, but Henrik Pedersen and his limited squad are fighting valiantly against the odds.<\/p>\n

The Owls are actually unbeaten in three Championship games. Their away win over Portsmouth<\/a> was followed up by a goalless draw against QPR<\/a>, before they were cruelly denied three points at the death against Birmingham<\/a> City, drawing 2-2.<\/p>\n

Coventry City<\/a> come into the Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> tie in a very different position. Frank Lampard\u2019s side are unbeaten in the Championship with four wins and four draws, scoring a massive 22 goals in the process.<\/p>\n

The Sky Blues are quickly emerging as genuine automatic promotion contenders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> team news<\/p>\n

In the wake of the midweek draw against Birmingham<\/a> City, Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> boss Pedersen confirmed<\/a> Barry Bannan only withdrew from the action due to cramp. Liam Palmer was struggling too, but both are expected to be fit here.<\/p>\n

Bannan has been in fine form, registering two goals and two assists while playing a leading role in midfield.<\/p>\n

Other injury issues persist for SWFC, unfortunately. It is said<\/a> that none of the sidelined players are expected to return in time for the Coventry City<\/a> clash.<\/p>\n

Di\u2019Shon Bernard, Pierce Charles, Olaf Kobacki and youngster Reece Johnson all remain in the treatment room. Nathaniel Chalobah is also out, but he could be back in full training in the coming weeks after making progress.<\/p>\n

Palmer starts on the right with Yan Valery tucking in alongside captain Bannan and Svante Ingelsson<\/a>. Harry Amass has hit the ground running on loan from Manchester United and will start again too.<\/p>\n
