The Royal Malaysia Police\u2019s MyBayar PDRM mobile application is now accessible solely through MyDigital ID. According to the national digital identification platform, users must authenticate using MyDigital ID to check summonses, make payments, and access other features on the app.<\/p>\n

This development follows earlier announcements<\/a> that both MyBayar PDRM and the MyJPJ mobile app would gradually phase out legacy login systems in favour of MyDigital ID. While MyBayar PDRM has now completed the transition, MyJPJ is still in the dual-login stage but is expected to follow suit soon.<\/p>\n

The government has also indicated it may take further steps to accelerate MyDigital ID adoption. In July, officials confirmed<\/a> that a dedicated MyDigital ID Act was being considered to formalise usage and possibly make registration mandatory.<\/p>\n

Beyond government platforms, more services are integrating the national digital identification system. The Communications Ministry recently announced that prepaid SIM card registrations<\/a> will be tied to MyDigital ID by the end of the year, while CTOS Digital Berhad<\/a> recently became the first credit reporting agency to partner with the platform to strengthen its eKYC processes.<\/p>\n
