(October 4).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The warning means there could be delays on trains and buses, and drivers of high-sided vehicles are being told to take care when crossing bridges in the capital.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  There is also a risk of some short-term power cuts and minor damage, with winds gradually easing later this evening.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Here is the London forecast in more cloud and some light rain or drizzle, with highs again near 18\u00b0C.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Met Office is reminding Londoners to allow extra time for journeys today, especially if travelling by train or bus.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Drivers should take extra care in windy conditions, particularly when crossing exposed routes such as river bridges.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Residents are also being urged to
