File.<br \/>\n                                          | Photo Credit: Getty Images\n                                      <\/p>\n<p>United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer will be visiting India from Wednesday (October 8, 2025), the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement on Saturday (October 4). <\/p>\n<p>The visit, on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi \u201cwill build on the momentum and substance generated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/india-and-uk-sign-the-free-trade-agreement\/article69850072.ece\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">visit of Prime Minister Modi to the U.K. on 23\u201324 July 2025<\/a>. It will provide a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the shared vision of India and the United Kingdom to build a forward-looking partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Starmer will be visiting Mumbai on Thursday (October 9), where \u201cthe two Prime Ministers will take stock of progress in diverse aspects of the India-U.K. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in line with \u2018Vision 2035\u2019, a focussed and time bound 10-year Roadmap of programmes and initiatives in key pillars of trade and investment, technology and innovation, defence and security, climate and energy, health, education and people to people relations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth leaders will engage with businesses and industry leaders on opportunities presented by the India\u2013U.K. Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) as a central pillar of the future India\u2013U.K. economic partnership.
