Six people including children were shot while on a night out in Sweden<\/a> with a 14-year-old boy arrested. <\/p>\n Shots were fired around 2am in G\u00e4vle, in an area lined with bars and restaurants. <\/p>\n Most of the victims were young adults and also people aged under 18. <\/p>\n All six were taken to hospital, spokesman Tobias Ahl\u00e9n-Svalbro said.<\/p>\n A 14-year-old boy is being held on suspicion of attempted murder. <\/p>\n Mr Ahl\u00e9n-Svalbro said: \u2018So far we are working broadly and I cannot confirm that there is any connection to the criminal network environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018I can\u2019t go into any possible theories. We don\u2019t initially suspect it\u2019s terror-related.<\/p>\n \u2018The incident is being investigated as attempted murder. We have a large resource on site in the area, so our assessment is that there is no danger to the public, so I understand that people may be concerned.<\/p>\n \u2018It is quite close in time after the incident that the boy was taken into custody. The boy is suspected of attempted murder.\u2019<\/p>\n Three people ran into nearby restaurants with gunshot wounds, with one local woman saying: \u2018You don\u2019t really want to be out late at night.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018You\u2019re worried about your children.
