Self Esteem<\/a> brought out Moonchild Sanelly<\/a> and Nadine Shah<\/a> at her show in Bristol on Friday (October 3) \u2013 watch footage below.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter \u2013 aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor \u2013 is in the middle of a UK and Ireland tour<\/a> in support of her third studio album \u2018A Complicated Woman<\/a>\u2019, which was released in April.<\/p>\n

Sanelly is serving as a support act on the tour and Shah was also on the bill on Friday at Bristol\u2019s Beacon venue, and both artists took the chance to join Taylor for live performances of their respective collaborative tracks on \u2018A Complicated Woman\u2019.<\/p>\n

South African artist Sanelly sang \u2018In Plain Sight\u2019 with Taylor, as she has done on many nights of the tour so far, while Shah joined her for \u2018Lies\u2019, both of which you can watch in fan-captured footage here:<\/p>\n

Self Esteem has two remaining nights to play at Bristol\u2019s Beacon on Saturday and Sunday (October 4 and 5), followed by three nights in London\u2019s O2 Academy Brixton, then Brighton and Sheffield to round out the tour. Find all the dates here<\/a> and any remaining tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, she is curating a day at the 2025 London Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre<\/a> next month, where she will appear in conversation with writer Dolly Alderton to talk about her debut book A Complicated Woman, which is out on October 30 (pre-order here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Self Esteem brought her theatrical \u2018A Complicated Woman\u2019 live show to Glastonbury<\/a> this summer<\/p>\n

In a round-up of the Park Stage slot,\u00a0NME\u00a0wrote<\/a>: \u201cFrom opening with an eerie nod to\u00a0A Handmaid\u2019s Tale\u00a0to getting the crowd moving with tongue-in-cheek new single \u201869\u2019,\u00a0Self Esteem\u2018s set was even more ornate than you might expect at Glasto, and not one to be forgotten in a hurry. When the Pyramid is ready for Taylor, there\u2019s no doubt she\u2019ll be able to fill it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In May,\u00a0Self Esteem won the Visionary Award at The Ivors 2025<\/a>. \u201cIt means everything,\u201d she told\u00a0NME\u00a0of the honour at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Taylor added: \u201cNot to start going on about women like I always do, but people don\u2019t think women write songs. It still gets questioned. People think I\u2019ve got writers\u2019 camps and all these things.<\/p>\n
