Strikes from Mathys Tel<\/a> and Mohammed Kudus in either half ensured that Tottenham put an end to their two-match winless streak in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

It ensured that the Lilywhites go into the international break high on confidence, and Kudus has explained why it was a huge result for the club.<\/p>\n

Kudus<\/a> had four assists to his name going into the game at Elland Road, and racked up his fifth in the first half when he laid on a through ball to Mathys Tel.<\/p>\n

After Leeds had equalised, the Ghana international got on the scoresheet himself in the second period, with his deflected strike nestling into the bottom corner.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the 2-1 win, Kudus said (via TNT Sports<\/a>): \u201cI\u2019ve definitely been waiting [for my first Tottenham goal]. As an attacker, it boosts your confidence when you score.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to give my teammate [Mathys Tel] some credit. I am a big fan of how he trains and how he has kept on going. We now go to represent our country and come back with the same focus. This is a big step in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
