This new allowance is 33% larger than the current EU standard free carry-on bag, which is set at 40 x 30 x 15cm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-5dzys10\">The free personal bag must still be able to fit under the passenger\u2019s seat. <\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-keo0a135\">For those who wish to bring an additional carry-on, Ryanair\u2019s Priority Boarding service offers the option to take a second bag on board. Customers can also purchase check-in luggage at the time of booking if required.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-jbvtq13\"><strong style=\"font-weight:700\">Ryanair\u2019s Chief Marketing Officer, Dara Brady<\/strong>, said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-8kh8l16\">\u201cRyanair\u2019s new, bigger free carry-on bag is now 33% larger than the EU standard. Our bag sizers at all airports have now been \u2018resized\u2019 to accommodate this bigger, free carry-on bag. <\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-gu5vm185\">\u201cAll passengers wishing to bring a second carry bag can do so by availing of our Priority Boarding service, and passengers can also purchase check-in bags, should they so wish, during their booking process. <\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-gppq6225\">\u201cWe hope our customers will enjoy these bigger, free carry-on bag sizes, but any passenger who fails to comply with these new generous limits, will be required to pay the checked in bag fee at the boarding gate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"fxTZ7 fvFfv lRgAI xFml2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-t9yjz19\">The update is designed to provide greater flexibility for travellers while maintaining Ryanair\u2019s strict cabin baggage policies.
