A <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AvichayAdraee\" target=\"_blank\">spokesperson for the Israeli armed forces<\/a> warned on Saturday that the northern part of the the Gaza Strip remained \u201ca dangerous combat zone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this week signed up to the U.S. president\u2019s 20-point plan, which calls for a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all hostages, the disarmament of Hamas fighters and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli armed forces.<\/p>\n<p>According to the AFP news agency, the Israeli prime minister\u2019s office said that Israel was \u201cpreparing for the immediate implementation of the first stage of the Trump plan for the release of all the hostages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a post on social media late Saturday, Trump said: \u201cI appreciate that Israel has temporarily stopped the bombing in order to give the hostage release and peace deal a chance to be completed.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The U.S. president added that Hamas \u201cmust move quickly, or else all bets will be off.
