Leeds\u2019 year-long unbeaten run at home in the league came to an end on Saturday when they were beaten 2-1 at Elland Road by Tottenham Hotspur.<\/strong><\/p>\n Mohammed Kudus\u2019 57th-minute strike was enough for Spurs to take all three points against Leeds<\/a>, who battled well throughout the 90 minutes as Storm Amy hit West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n Jayden Bogle shone despite Leeds\u2019 loss to Tottenham<\/a>, while Noah Okafor<\/a> scored his second Premier League goal of the season.<\/p>\n Unfortunately for Leeds, Tottenham\u2019s quality was too much for Daniel Farke<\/a>\u2018s defence to handle and Wayne Rooney<\/a> largely believes that the Whites manager will be happy with the overall performance against last season\u2019s Europa League champions. <\/p>\n Both Joe Rodon<\/a> and Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed big chances for Leeds<\/a> as they lost to Thomas Frank\u2019s Spurs side on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n Rodon struck the post with a header early on, while Calvert-Lewin<\/a> had multiple opportunities in front of goal for Leeds to seize at least a point at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n Farke admitted after the game that Leeds missed too many chances<\/a> in the game.<\/p>\n Former Manchester United star Rooney rued those missed chances while reacting to the footage of highlights from Leeds\u2019 loss.<\/p>\n \u201cLeeds were very unlucky to come away with no points,\u201d Rooney said on Match of the Day<\/a> on Saturday night. \u201cI thought they created some good chances but they just weren\u2019t clinical enough.<\/p>\n \u201cWe see here, early on, Rodon comes around the back, it\u2019s a good ball and it\u2019s a good header and he\u2019s unlucky not to score.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s really good pressure on the ball, they win the ball back high but Calvert-Lewin just can\u2019t get the ball out of his feet and it\u2019s not a great shot and he should do better.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u201cAgain, here, I like this from Calvert-Lewin. He\u2019s always occupying the back line. The first pass doesn\u2019t come when maybe it should but he carries on to be a threat in the box.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a really good first touch and he\u2019s unlucky with the shot.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is what we know Calvert-Lewin can do in the air \u2013 he\u2019s a presence.
