When you walk down any city centre street, especially Mathew Street, you are never too far away from a Stag Do or a Hen Do.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The region has always been home to some of the best nightclubs in the country, and sadly some of of them are now lost to time. But these places live long in the memories<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> of those who visited<\/a>, even if the physical building is no longer there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Back in the 90s, people would spend their weekends dancing at clubs likes Garlands and the 051, but it wasn&#8217;t only <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">the city centre <\/a>which had a memorable nightlife offering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The Paradox and many other out of town clubs were often packed on a weekend. Countless memorable nights have been had in the selection of clubs across the region. One famous night was had at <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/bootle\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Bootle<\/a> superclub Quadrant Park, a night which had &#8220;hysterical girls keel over&#8221; <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/nostalgia\/night-famous-superclub-hysterical-girls-26722614\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">watching Jason Donovan perform<\/a> in 1989.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Some of Liverpool&#8217;s nightclubs were that popular that we now see them opening up again years later. In 2023, 0151 reopened for the first time since 2005. <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/gallery\/first-pictures-inside-051-club-27754128\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">The famous underground space <\/a>is recognised in Liverpool as one of the definitive nightclubs of the 1990s and early 2000s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The legacy of our clubs lives on, a new city centre club, K1 Metal Club opened last year after being born \u201cout of the ashes\u201d of The Krazyhouse. Affectionately <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/nostalgia\/liverpool-nightclub-clubbers-the-best-23847659\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Known as the K,<\/a> it burst onto the scene in the 1990s and become a<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/music-nightlife-news\/iconic-club-closure-left-hole-29183329\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> rite of passage for students and young adults.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/2_JS264693138.jpg\" alt=\"Inside The Krazyhouse, Liverpool.
