This weekend, Meghan Markle made her first fashion week appearance in over a decade. The Duchess was spotted at the Balenciaga show in Paris on Saturday. She was there “in support of Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of Creative Director of the House,” a spokesperson for the Duchess tells Town & Country. Piccioli’s new role was announced in May 2025; he was previously the creative director of Valentino from 2008 to 2024. <\/p>\n

Meghan has worn a number of designs by Piccioli over the years. Notably, she wore a custom red dress by the designer during her and Prince Harry’s 2019 royal visit to Morocco.<\/p>\n

Meghan wore a custom Valentino ensemble designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli in 2019 to meet Crown Prince of Morocco, Moulay Hassan, during her visit to the country.<\/p>\n

“They have worked closely together collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage. She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was no different,” the spokesperson for the Duchess continued. Her attendance at the show “reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support of his new creative chapter at Balenciaga.” <\/p>\n

For the show, Meghan wore a dramatic cream cape over a matching shirt and trousers, a look she paired with a black clutch and pointy-toe pumps.<\/p>\n

Town & Country editor in chief Stellene Volandes was also at the show, and captured Meghan’s arrival: <\/p>\n

Later that evening, Meghan changed to attend a separate event for the brand. She wore a <\/p>\n

a black dress with a low back, which she coupled with a gold necklace, diamond stud earrings, black pumps and a slicked back bun.<\/p>\n
