A statement put out by North Wales Police<\/a> on their social media <\/a>caused some worry among local residents, when it incorrectly stated that a road has been closed due to a “fire”. The post was then edited within minutes to say the cause of the road closure was not a fire, but residents had already been alerted by then.<\/p>\n The initial Facebook<\/a> post by the force warned that there was a road closure in place at the A547 Bridge Street, Abergele, between St George Street and the Gwindy Pub due to a “fire”.<\/p>\n The statement from North Wales Police read<\/a>: “The road is currently closed on the A547 Bridge Street, Abergele, between St George Street and the Gwindy pub due to a fire. Please avoid the area, thank you”<\/p>\n A concerned resident commented underneath the post: “Anyone know where the fire is?
