As part of her upcoming documentary, Expedition Scotland: The Search at Loch Ness and Loch Morar, Ms Elizabeth spoke to witnesses and recorded 20 hours of underwater sounds in her hunt for evidence of the Loch Ness Monster.<\/p>\n
She believes there is already one \u2018strange sound\u2019 that warrants further analysis.<\/p>\n
She said: \u2018I\u2019m not sure exactly what it was yet, because I have to go over every type of fish and underwater creature in Loch Ness and the sound they make.<\/p>\n
\u2018It doesn\u2019t sound like a boat motor or anything like that, I\u2019m very familiar with those sounds..\u2019<\/p>\n
Ms Elizabeth, of Warwick, Rhode Island, has spent several months every year since 2012 scouring Lake Champlain, in Orlando, Florida, investigating reports of a strange creature said to lurk there.<\/p>\n

The cryptozoologist, from Florida, believes one \u2018strange sound\u2019 warrants further analysis<\/p>\n
Dubbed Champ, there have been more than 600 sightings of the long, underwater animal in the 124-mile-long lake since the 17th century.<\/p>\n
During her search there, Ms Elizabeth recorded \u2018complex\u2019 underwater clicks that she says prove the existence of undiscovered creatures she believes could be reptile, amphibian or a hybrid of both.<\/p>\n
She theorises that the noises are echolocation used by large animals to hunt, navigate and communicate.<\/p>\n
She even believes there could be a link between them and the creature many believe inhabits Loch Ness.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She believes that these findings indicate these animals are most likely \u2018a related species, if not the same species\u2019.<\/p>\n
She also finds it intriguing that there are reports from all over the world of water-based creatures that have similar \u2018morphological descriptions\u2019.<\/p>\n
She added: \u2018The Native Americans here call these animals the horned serpents.<\/p>\n
\u2018Then you talk about the Celts, with the water horse and the kelpies.<\/p>\n
\u2018At that time, these people didn\u2019t interact with each other that we\u2019re aware of. So, to me, it\u2019s more than just a myth.\u2019<\/p>\n
Ms Elizabeth has a documentary coming out on Amazon Prime in December about her trip called<\/p>\n
In a potential teaser for what she plans to discuss in the documentary, Ms Elizabeth said: \u2018My theory has to do with the ocean.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘There\u2019s a connection there somehow. That\u2019s all I\u2019m going to say.\u2019<\/p>\n
