{"id":476736,"date":"2025-10-05T21:42:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T21:42:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/476736\/"},"modified":"2025-10-05T21:42:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T21:42:12","slug":"cy-fair-romps-to-algonquin-score","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/476736\/","title":{"rendered":"Cy Fair romps to Algonquin score"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"styles_paragraph__6o_o7\">TORONTO, October 5, 2025 \u2013 Cy Fair fashioned a devastating turn of foot to propel her to victory in Sunday\u2019s $175,000\u00a0bet365\u00a0Algonquin\u00a0Stakes\u00a0at Woodbine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"styles_paragraph__6o_o7\">Cy Fair broke sharply but was taken out of the early scramble by Sahin Civaci to sit last of six as Highwaytothemoon, Gypsy Art and Shak Town duked it through an opening panel in :22.56 on an inner turf listed as firm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"styles_paragraph__6o_o7\">The lead trio continued to match strides coming off the turn for home in the five-furlong inner turf race for 2-year-olds, but Cy Fair, who by then had moved into prime striking position, glided into contention straightening for the wire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"styles_paragraph__6o_o7\">Set loose by Civaci, Cy Fair rocketed past her rivals with little urging in early stretch and went on to notch a 3 \u00bc-length triumph. Casson was second, 1 \u00bc lengths clear of Gypsy Art. Highwaytothemoon was fourth.
