Leeds United<\/a> will have to dust themselves off over the next fortnight after defeat to Spurs, planning ahead for a trip to Burnley<\/a> after the international break.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leeds have shown their ability to be competitive against some of the best and most in-form sides in the division in the past two weeks.<\/p>\n

However, one point from two very strong home performances against Bournemouth and Spurs is frustrating. The task for Daniel Farke is putting that right with two \u2018winnable\u2019 fixtures after the international break.<\/p>\n

Burnley\u2019s latest result was a 2-1 defeat away to a resurgent Aston Villa side, who look to have turned a corner under Unai Emery after a really poor start.<\/p>\n

Goals from Donyell Malen proved the difference, leading to Parker having some intriguing comments for his defence post-match.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were competitive, the second goal was poor from us,\u201d Parker told Sky Sports, via BBC<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s a young team and I think over the first seven games we have switched off at times. If you switch off for one second here you get punished.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s another brand new team, it is a brand new defensive line and we are working tirelessly with that. We have switched off in certain moments and looked a bit young.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is frustration there because we have been really close. Perspective is something that I live by. We understand the challenge. We need to improve in certain areas and we will endeavour to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Parker has a fortnight to get his side in order before a six-pointer against United, but his comments of poor and inexperienced defending should get Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor excited.<\/p>\n

The Leeds duo have proven to be Leeds\u2019 most important outlets in possession, with the latter scoring v Spurs, teed up through some smart link-up from Calvert-Lewin.<\/p>\n

As Leeds look to pick up a massive three points at Turf Moor, they\u2019ll need these two firing. Parker not being happy with his defence at the moment ought to be encouragement aplenty.<\/p>\n
