secures US$ 200m in financing for expansion across Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>European edge data center operator Ethical Internet Exchange (Etix) has secured \u20ac170 million ($200m) in financing to support its European expansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Etix currently operates 14 data centers in France and Belgium with a total capacity of 8.1MW, and aims to strengthen its French presence, while entering new European markets with plans to establish a new generation of technology hubs across Europe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/2026-CDC-IW-Banner-13-1-scaled.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-181388\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/2026-CDC-IW-Banner-13-1-scaled.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"569\"  \/><\/a>Louis Blanchot, Etix CEO said \u201cThis refinancing reinforces our financial position and enables us to accelerate the growth of our data center portfolio across Europe, it marks an important step toward our goal of becoming a major European player.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Etix and investment firm Eurazeo announced a \u20ac120 million ($140.8m) refinancing deal (extendable to \u20ac170 million) from a conglomeration of banking firms including MUFG, Kommunalkredit Austria AG, La Banque Postale, Bpifrance, and BNP Paribas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Eurazeo posted on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/eurazeo_etix-secures-a-strategic-170mrefinancing-activity-7376992133217574913-KqJ2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> LinkedIn<\/a> and stated \u201c2 years after our initial investment, we are very proud about this new milestone which provides Etix\u2019s the financial means to deliver its growth trajectory and consolidate its position in regional data centers segment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Magazine-Issue-9-Banner.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
