Young musicians from across the Liverpool City Region and Warrington will take the spotlight this December as Scousevision, a brand-new youth music event, makes its debut at ACC Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Organised by the Sound! Music Hub Youth Board, Scousevision is a large-scale celebration of young talent. The event is now inviting performers to audition, with opportunities open to community groups, schools (including choirs), independent artists, vocalists and bands. Musicians up to the age of 21 can apply, with the age limit extended to 25 for SEND participants.<\/p>\n

Taking place on Friday 5 December 2025 in front of an audience of almost a thousand, Scousevision will feature 12 live acts reflecting the creativity and ambition of the region\u2019s young performers. The night will be about collaboration, connection and inspiration, shining a light on the next generation of music makers.<\/p>\n

Councillor Mike Wharton, Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Business, Investment and Trade, said:<\/strong>
\u201cScousevision is not a competition, but a celebration \u2013 a curated showcase of the region\u2019s most exciting young performers. It highlights our commitment to nurturing new talent and creating real opportunities for young people who aspire to careers in the music industry. I think we\u2019ll be in for an unforgettable evening that reaffirms our place as the UK\u2019s cultural and creative capital.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sound! Music Hub, one of 43 across the UK, provides music education and opportunities for children and young people, from traditional lessons to DJing and digital music. Serving Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Warrington, it\u2019s funded by the Department for Education through Arts Council England and led locally by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.<\/p>\n

Entries are open until Friday 31 October, with the final line-up revealed on 5 November. <\/p>\n
