{"id":478017,"date":"2025-10-06T11:41:39","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T11:41:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/478017\/"},"modified":"2025-10-06T11:41:39","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T11:41:39","slug":"super-radio-network-appoints-gavin-flanagan-as-group-sales-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/478017\/","title":{"rendered":"Super Radio Network appoints Gavin Flanagan as Group Sales Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                                    <img src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2060.png\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gavin Flanagan<\/strong> has been appointed <strong>Group Sales Manager<\/strong> of the <strong>Super Radio Network Group (SRN).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Flanagan has been in radio for almost 27 years, having started as a young announcer in <strong>Karratha,<\/strong> moving to <strong>Alice Springs<\/strong> and then <strong>Tamworth, <\/strong>where he became General Manager under the late <strong>Bill Caralis<\/strong> in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>After a 3-year stint running Business Events (and the <strong>Tamworth Country Music Festival<\/strong>) at <strong>Tamworth Regional Council<\/strong>, Flanagan returned to the media sector at <strong>Nine <\/strong>and <strong>Southern Cross Austereo,<\/strong> before returning as GM with SRN in <strong>Tamworth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He then took over the <strong>Nowra<\/strong> stations under <strong>Grant Broadcasters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Upon ARN\u2019s acquisition of Grant Broadcasters, Flanagan was appointed General Manager of <strong>Wave FM <\/strong>in <strong>Wollongong<\/strong> as well as Area Lead for ARN\u2019s<strong> NSW<\/strong> stations. He has been in that role for the past three years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chair of SRN, Joan Warner,<\/strong> said \u201cSuper Radio Network is pleased to be able to access Gavin\u2019s wealth of experience across media and, importantly, his knowledge of, and experience in, regional radio sales and the SRN network.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGavin will be a key part of the SRN Executive Team going forward. We look forward to his contribution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Flanagan said \u201cI\u2019m really pleased to be rejoining the Super Radio Network after six years away.
